Continuing to Redefine Amateur Disc Golf in Europe

After an incredible first year, The AmTour returns for its second season — stronger, bigger, and more connected than ever!

We’re continuing our mission to redefine amateur disc golf in Europe, offering players a true Pro-level experience designed especially for the amateur scene.

Our goal remains simple: to bring together passionate players from across Europe, inspire travel, and create unforgettable experiences on and off the course.

Because you don’t have to be a pro to travel for disc golf!

The AmTour also continues to offer real opportunities for recognition:

🏆 MA1/FA1 champions will earn a Team INNOVA Contract, while

🥇 MA2/FA2 champions will secure a Team INNOVA Ambassador Contract.

And for those competing in MA3/FA3 and MA4/FA4 — the excitement doesn’t stop there!

Tour winners in these divisions will have the unique chance to design their own Signature Disc — a true celebration of their season-long success.

There’s so much more to discover in The AmTour.

Join us as we take European amateur disc golf to the next level — bigger, better, and bolder in 2026!

FAQ

Where I can find all the important info?

How many days does the competition last?

  • Each competition always takes place for three days (Friday – Sunday) and one round is played per day. There is a minimum of one practice day before the competition.

Can I participate in The AmTour if I am PRO-class player?

If during The AmTour my rating increases with PDGA update over the division limits, can I participate in the same division till the end of the tour?

  • If you start The AmTour in one division and your rating rises over the PDGA limit (as example MA3 <900), in the next competition you must play in a higher division (MA2). We also apply an exception for AM status players (2.02B PDGA rule https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/202). It is valid only, if the player has not competed in a higher division at any time during the Series (TOUR) and the player’s rating does not exceed 20 points above the rating ceiling for the division they wish to compete in. It means that players can not participate in other PDGA sanctioned competitions in higher divisions. It shall not apply to Professional-class players competing in Amateur divisions.

If I can not participate can I get my payment back?

How will The AmTour points be calculated? Where can I see the leaderboard?

If I change then division during the tour, what happens with my collected points?

  • Points are division based only and do not transfer to another division. Therefore, if the division changes after the first competition, the following points will be counted for the player already in the new division. We encourage players to choose their starting division higher, if their rating is close to division maximum.

What kind of prizes are offered in competitions? Can I get money?

  • Prizes are merchandise only. No cash payouts. At each competition, the local organizer decides what the prizes are – items, gift cards etc. Each division’s top 20% get prizes. If a division has less than 4 players, players compete for the trophies.

If I want to participate in a female only division, when can I register for The AmTour?

  • For female divisions we do not have registration stages limitation, as for MA divisions. So you can register already at the first stage. After the first registration stage we open only the FA1 division and other FA divisions, where there is at least one player registered on stage 1. If there are no players in FA2, FA3, FA4, these divisions will be closed after stage one registration ends.

If I start the Tour as an amateur player in the MA2 division, will apply the PDGA rule 2.02B in Innova AmTour to me and my rating can go over 935 points up to 20 points? If I take money in another PDGA competition in the middle of the season, what happens then?

  • Yes, on the Innova AmTour PDGA rule 2.02B applies to a player in amateur status. If you accept a cash prize even in another PDGA competition in the middle of the season, your status will automatically change from an amateur player to a PRO player and the difference will not apply. In this case, you have to compete in the higher division (MA1). Points won in the past will not be transferred. If you are already a player in the MA1 division with a rating of 971 and higher, then a player with PRO status can no longer participate in the Tour, since the limit of the MA1 rating for a player with PRO status is 969. There is no limit for a player with amateur status.
